Conceptual design and UX. I serve as the bridge between management, business, employees and design agency to ensure that the concept, design and user experience (UX) of the new platform are built meet all the requirements – aesthetic, functional, and procedural. This is acheived through using in-depth interviews with key stakeholders and close collaboration with the technical, visual and UX design teams to ensure that the future platform reflects the information flows required by its future users.

Governance, editorial system design and management. One of the greatest challenges of making a communications network thrive is understanding how to get buy-in and contribution from non-communications functions. Without effective governance and a viable editorial system, users will quickly feel uninvolved and unrepresented, and disengage. Drawing on my years of experience, I can develop a functioning governance structure and editorial system, educate the stakeholders in its usage, and guide its growth until it is self-sustaining. 

IT partnering. In new platform deployments, the IT team needs a knowledgeable partner to represent the business interests in the development process. Whether in the role of business partner, product owner, or consultant, I can champion the product and bring an impartial, platform agnostic, technically knowledgeable communications viewpoint to the table. 

Change management and documentation. As with any project of Group scale, an internal communications platform deployment requires change management communication supported by comprehensive documentation and materials. By working closely with the technical team, I can create and deliver training programs and acceptance campaigns to the users. I can also manage the production of the support documentation (guidelines, workflows, governance structures, etc.) and editorial collaterals (templates, FAQs, walkthroughs, etc.) needed to support the deployment.
